I'm not a different person in each of those rooms, I'm one person doing several things at once, probably the same as a lot of you. That's exactly why I started writing down what I learn and sharing it, instead of keeping it to myself.

Soy mamá soltera, y todo esto se reduce a una sola cosa: cuidar a mis hijos. Where possible, I also want to give them a little "more," like participation in sports, or last-minute "who knows when this will happen again" opportunities, the stuff that costs money. Even just relaxing with them at home on the couch costs money. So, because no "simple" solutions have worked for me yet, I've undertaken many things. I bet someone else reading this understands what I mean.

Soy originaria de Utah, pero también he vivido en Nuevo México, California, Oklahoma y Argentina (dos veces), más de 40 direcciones en total. I'm originally from Utah, but I've also lived in New Mexico, California, Oklahoma, and Argentina (twice), over 40 addresses in total. For fun, I love drawing, writing in my journal, playing Legos, and just being with my kids. And if you're wondering: yellow, it's such a happy, hopeful color.

Cómo empezó AxtorraHow Axtorra started

Una dueña de un estudio de gimnasia necesitaba mejores formularios. No un sitio web, no una app, solo formularios. Se los hice gratis, porque era algo pequeño y podía hacerlo. A gymnastics studio owner needed better forms. Not a website, not an app, just forms. I fixed that, free, because it was small enough that I could.

Como ya estaba mirando de cerca cómo funcionaba el estudio, noté lo siguiente y ofrecí hacer un mockup del sitio web, todavía sin plan, solo lo próximo que era visible. El mockup se convirtió en un sitio real. Un sitio real hizo visible el siguiente problema real: las familias necesitaban registrarse en línea, no en papel. Eso significó construir algo, una pequeña app. Y una vez que esa app existía y la gente ya pagaba a través de ella, llevar el registro de esos pagos dentro de la misma app no fue un proyecto nuevo. Because I was already looking closely at how the studio ran, I noticed the next obvious gap and offered to mock up a website, still no plan, just the next visible thing. The mockup became a real site. A real site surfaced the next real problem: families needed to register online instead of on paper. That meant building something, a small app. And once that app existed and people were paying through it anyway, tracking those payments inside the same app wasn't a new project. It was just the next piece of the same problem.

Ayudo a gente común a usar IA para resolver problemas reales, en su trabajo, su negocio pequeño, o algo que apenas están empezando. No vendo transformación ni promesas grandes. Enseño sistemas pequeños y realistas, y estoy dispuesta a hacerlo contigo, no solo explicártelo. Y si la respuesta correcta para tu problema no es IA, también te lo voy a decir. Axtorra isn't what pays every bill, it's one piece of how I make a living (see above), the piece I built to teach what I'm learning. I help regular people use AI to solve real problems, in their job, their small business, or something they're just starting. I don't sell transformation or big promises. I teach small, realistic systems, and I'm willing to do it with you, not just explain it at you. And if the right answer for your problem isn't AI, I'll tell you that too.

Sobre mi españolAbout my Spanish

Tal vez te estés preguntando: "¿por qué se mete la gringa a hablar español cuando ni lo habla perfectamente?" Justo por eso te lo digo así, directo: mi español viene de haber vivido fuera del país. No es mi lengua materna, y a veces me equivoco de artículo, uso una palabra de la calle de Argentina que significa algo muy diferente en otro país, o simplemente hablo muy simple. Hablo español de forma imperfecta porque quiero seguir practicando, y porque quiero hablarles a mis amigos de habla hispana en su propio idioma. Para mis amigos de habla inglesa: van a recibir una redacción más pulida y la misma información de siempre. ¡Gracias por su paciencia! You might be asking yourself: "why does the gringa bother speaking Spanish when she doesn't even speak it perfectly?" That's exactly why I'm telling you straight up: my Spanish comes from having lived outside the country. It's not my native language, and I sometimes get an article wrong, use a slang word from the streets of Argentina that means something very different somewhere else, or just speak very simply. I speak Spanish imperfectly because I want to keep practicing, and because I want to talk to my Spanish-speaking friends in their own language. For my English-speaking friends: you'll get cleaner wording and the same great info. Thanks for your patience!
